2. Don't ignore their opinions or experiences - Elder people have lived longer and have valuable knowledge and wisdom to share. Dismissing their opinions or experiences is dismissive of their value as individuals.

3. Don't make assumptions about their abilities or limitations - Just because someone is older, it doesn't mean they are incapable or less able than younger people. Making assumptions about their abilities or limitations can be demeaning and hurtful.

4. Don't use slang or inappropriate language - Using slang or inappropriate language in front of elder people can be disrespectful and show a lack of consideration for their feelings and sensibilities.

5. Don't rush them or be impatient - Elder people may move more slowly or have difficulty with certain tasks. Being patient and giving them the time they need shows respect and consideration for their needs.

6. Don't invade their personal space - Everyone values their personal space, including elder people. Respecting their boundaries and giving them space shows consideration and respect.

7. Don't treat them as if they are a burden - Elder people deserve to be treated with kindness and care, not as if they are a burden or inconvenience. Showing them kindness and compassion is the right thing to do.

8. Don't talk about their age in a disrespectful or mocking way - Age should be treated with respect and reverence, not as a joke or something to be ashamed of. Mocking or disrespecting someone's age is hurtful and inconsiderate.

9. Don't make fun of their physical appearance or abilities - Making fun of someone's physical appearance or abilities is hurtful and disrespectful, regardless of their age. Elder people deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, just like anyone else.

10. Don't dismiss their emotions or feelings - Elder people have the same emotions and feelings as anyone else. Dismissing or invalidating their emotions is disrespectful and shows a lack of empathy and understanding.
